  They don't make garages like this any more! I own a 1991 VW Golf GTI soft top , the same garage has serviced it for the last 26 years, since it was born, moreover its been serviced by the same man, Mr Phil Bing. Of course he has moved up the chain so probably does not get his hands on the car very often theses days. Its in great shape and has only done 68K miles and now lives in a warm garage and only does about 300 miles per year. Phil retires next month both the car and I will miss him and wish him well for the future. It will be over to Allan to do the baby sitting, whatever I love this garage and all its staff. Real mechanics who are not totally reliant on diagnostics, they can really use a tool kit!
